Last Minute change in Location for Vettaikaran song
The latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood is that the Vijay starrer Vettaikkaran, which will not be making it to a Diwali release, ran into trouble when the cast and crew were denied a visa for Australia. The crew was due to travel to Australia to shoot a song featuring Vijay and Anushka. But for undisclosed reasons, the visa was denied and the director had to settle for a location in Pune where superstar Rajinikanth’s song Ballelakka with Nayanthara for the film Sivaji was shot.
Insiders reveal that Vijay will be doing a hi-tech number with Anushka at this location and again in Mumbai with Bollywood dancers later this month. Meanwhile, the details of Vijay’s 50th film Sura, have been finalised, Dev Gil, who played the main villain in Ram Charan Teja’s Magadheera, has been signed on as the villian. Sources report that the shooting of Sura (sans Vijay) is proceeding at Billy Mills in Chennai.
